Description

Amino-D-Tox is a synergistic formula developed to support healthy Phase II detoxification of the liver. The environment in which we live is more and more toxic. This overload on the body, induced by the various toxic substances in the environment, such as pesticides, herbicides, chemical solvents, xenobiotics and industrial chemicals of all kinds, reaches us through our food, water, the air we breathe as well as through transgenerational inheritance via the alteration of the epigenome10. In addition, toxins produced by our own metabolism add to this overload as do toxins present in the intestinal tract, especially when there is an imbalance in the gut microbial ecology.

This large toxic load greatly increases the workload of the liver in its detoxification function, which ensures the transformation of these chemicals into harmless molecules, the latter having the potential to produce excessive oxidative stress on the body and thus generate, over time, chronic diseases. The end result is fatigue, lethargy, headaches, multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS), skin problems, chronic fatigue, neuromuscular disorders and many others.

Amino-D-Tox was developed to upregulate Phase II detoxification. This formula is free of herbs, minerals and B vitamins as these would also up-regulate phase I detoxification.

Amino-D-Tox promotes Phase II detoxification in the liver and thus ensures that this important physiological function of biotransformation can occur optimally. This is particularly relevant for individuals with chemical hypersensitivities who should consider supplementation with Amino-D-ToxTM to help positively regulate these metabolic pathways before considering a more comprehensive detoxification protocol.

Phase II detoxification requires amino acids, sulfur (sulfur-containing amino acids) and glutathione. Methionine, cysteine and taurine are the three most common sulfur-containing amino acids. MSM also provides sulfur as does glutathione (made up of 3 amino acids).

Dosage

Adults: Take 6 capsules daily with meals or as recommended by a healthcare professional. Avoid taking at bedtime.
