Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) has been studied for over 80 years for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties. AOR's formula combines PEA with Univestin™, which has been clinically proven to quickly relieve joint discomfort, and boswellia, which has been shown to decrease pain, particularly in osteoarthritis. This innovative formula also includes quercetin, which blocks enzymes responsible for producing inflammatory mediators that sensitize the body's pain receptors, and magnesium glycinate, which is essential for energy metabolism and muscle function. Traditionally, pain management has been relegated to analgesic therapies that effectively block the processes that enable pain perception. While other over-the-counter medications for pain target the enzymes that control the inflammatory cascade, namely the COX enzyme pathway, although these non-specific therapies often cause many unwanted side effects, particularly on the gastric mucosa.
