We chose collagen as our protein source because it is the primary building block of all connective tissues in our bodies. In our modern diet, we don’t drink a lot of bone broth or eat tendons, which is where we typically ingest high concentrations of collagen. Adding collagen to your diet can support skin health, increase muscle recovery rates, and reduce joint pain.
TIP: Vitamin C plays an essential role in collagen synthesis!

The bars' classic Peanut Butter Cup flavor is created with natural peanut butter made from dry roasted peanuts, 100% Canadian honey and Belgian dark chocolate.

Nutritional Information

Ingredients:

Collagen (porcine), Canadian honey, natural peanut butter, Belgian dark chocolate cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (added as an emulsifier), natural vanilla, rolled oats.
We use porcine collagen because of its similarity to collagen found in the human body and because it is more easily absorbed and tolerated.
For example, up to 3% of people are allergic to bovine collagen, but allergies to porcine collagen are less common.
