Barrier Integrity, a natural powder with a great lemonade and strawberry flavor, combines glutamine, prebiotic fiber and plant extracts to support healthy immune responses.

Key researched ingredients include L-Glutamine, Arabinogalactan, Astragalus Root, BENEGUT® Perilla Leaf Extract and Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root Extract. L-glutamine is a semi-essential amino acid produced by the body. Much research has been done on its role in gastrointestinal and immune health. Arabinogalactan, a prebiotic fiber found in high concentrations in North American larch trees, has been studied for its ability to increase the concentration of beneficial bacteria, such as Bacteroidetes and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii. Astragalus root extract is classified as an adaptogen that promotes mental and physical resistance to stress, in addition to supporting immune cell activity and function. Adaptogens, such as astragalus, support physiological and cellular homeostasis and have positive effects on immune function and antioxidant defences.​​​​​​​ BENEGUT® perilla leaf extract, an aqueous extraction of leaves of Perilla frutescens, contains a special fraction of flavanoids, as well as natural compounds of vicenin-2 and rosmarinic acid. Deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract is also listed as an ingredient and has been researched for its role in maintaining intestinal comfort.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 scoop daily, with at least 1 cup (250 mL) of water or juice, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Shake or stir until the product is dissolved. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Maintain adequate fluid intake.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Citric acid, natural strawberry and lemonade flavors, malic acid, purified stevia leaf extract.

Adultes : Prendre 1 mesure par jour, avec au moins 1 tasse (250 ml) d'eau ou de jus, ou selon les directives d'un praticien de soins de santé. Agiter ou remuer jusqu'à ce que le produit soit dissous.
