Description

BCAA Powder combines the branched chain amino acids (BCAAs - leucine, isoleucine and valine) with the amino acid L-glutamine in a delicious orange flavored powder. BCAA's represent 35% of the essential amino acids found in muscle protein, and approximately 40% of the total amino acids required by mammals. BCAAs are unique in that they are a direct source of energy for skeletal muscle, while also mediating ATP production in the citric acid (Krebs) cycle. They stimulate protein building in muscles, reduce muscle breakdown during exercise and regulate protein metabolism throughout the body. BCAAs stimulate the synthesis of lean muscle mass even in the absence of resistance training, making them an effective raw material for the maintenance of lean muscle mass in athletes as well as in populations unable to exercise but at risk of muscle loss. This product is free of sucrose, fructose and artificial sweeteners, and is naturally sweetened with the stevia plant.

Dosage

Adults: Thoroughly mix 1 tablespoon into 1-2 cups of liquid (water, juice, etc.) immediately before consumption. Take once daily or as recommended by a health care practitioner. Can be taken before, during or after training. Consider combining with Pure PaleoComplete, VegeComplete or WheyCool, or taking with food to increase total BCAA levels and protein synthesis.
