Description

Berberine Immune Support is designed to maintain the immune system by supporting healthy Th1 cell activation, thereby promoting natural immunity and cell-mediated immune defenses. Th1 responses are affected by stress, aging and cytokine changes caused by metabolic, hormonal, physiological and environmental factors. This product helps balance cytokine production to support Th1 cell differentiation. Th1 support may be indicated to enhance natural defenses. Berberine is a natural plant alkaloid that has been tested in clinical and preclinical trials, while ginger is a traditionally used herb that has been studied clinically. Zinc plays an important role in supporting the immune system, promoting healthy neutrophil, natural killer cell and T cell activity. This formula also contains skullcap and broccoli, which are best known for their respective bioactive components, baicalin and sulforaphane.

Dosage

Adults: Take 2 capsules, 1 or 2 times daily with meals or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule): Zinc (zinc picolinate) 5mg, Berberine (berberine hydrochloride) 225 mg, Chinese Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) Root Extract (8-12:1, 1200-1800 mg dried equivalent) 150 mg, Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) Sprout Extract (18-20:1, 900-1000 mg dried equivalent) 50 mg, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Rhizome Extract (25-40:1, 1500-2400 mg dried equivalent) 60 mg.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetarian capsules (hypromellose, water).
