Cal Mag Liquid is a pleasant tasting calcium and magnesium supplement that supports bone health, assists normal muscle function and neutralizes excess stomach acid. The role of calcium in bone health is well documented and adequate amounts of calcium in a healthy diet, combined with physical activity, may reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. Magnesium also supports several components essential for bone health and improves bone mineralization by enhancing osteoblast and reducing osteoclast activity. In people with low magnesium levels, magnesium intake improves bone mineralization during skeletal development, which may help maintain long-term bone health. Magnesium also helps maintain proper muscle function, including heart muscle, as well as normal electrolyte balance and the body's ability to metabolize nutrients. Cal Mag Liquid provides calcium and magnesium in the form of calcium carbonate and magnesium hydroxide, antacids that neutralize the pH of the stomach. They are particularly used for the relief of heartburn, indigestion and stomach disorders associated with excess acid.

Dosage

Adults: Take one tablespoon once daily with meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by your practitioner. Shake well before each use.
