Description

Cal Mag Raspberry Liquid supports bone health with a combination of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. Calcium citrate is an organic form of calcium that is significantly better absorbed by postmenopausal women than inorganic calcium oxide. Magnesium citrate is a highly bioavailable form of magnesium that helps maintain bone mineral density. Regular intake of magnesium has been shown to reduce bone turnover rates in healthy young men. Vitamin D improves calcium and phosphorus absorption and promotes good bone health. Osteoporosis Canada's guidelines recommend a daily intake of 400 to 1000 units of vitamin D for low-risk adults under 50 years of age and 800 to 2000 units for older adults at high risk. An intake of 700 to 800 units of vitamin D per day is associated with a lower incidence of fractures compared to an intake of 400 units per day.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablespoon daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by your healthcare professional. Shake well before each use. Do not drink directly from the bottle.
