Description

Microcrystalline calcium hydroxyapatite is a whole bone extract that contains calcium and phosphorus. Calcium and phosphorus contribute to the development and maintenance of bones and teeth.

In randomized controlled clinical trials, supplementation with microcrystalline calcium hydroxyapatite has been shown to increase bone reconstruction while decreasing the amount of bone loss. Microcrystalline calcium hydroxyapatite has less effect on serum calcium levels than other forms of calcium supplements.

Dosage

Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
