The hedge clematis is a wild and common vine which launches its stems towards bushes and hedges to climb ever higher towards the sky. During the summer, it displays a starry constellation of small flowers with a discreet appearance. This aerial and invertebrate appearance of the wild clematis caught Bach's attention.
She corresponds to a typical profile: that of distracted people and dreamers who live with their heads in the clouds and take refuge in their dreams, day and night, indifferent to everyday things. With their feet not quite on the ground, like the plant that escapes upwards, the "clematis" often bump into each other, lose their keys or their way, and do not always hold on tightly to life. The remedy helps to improve contact with reality and for artistic temperaments, to realize their visions.
“For dreamers, those who doze off, are not fully awake, do not show much interest in life. Calm people, not really satisfied with their current condition, living more in the future than in the present; they live in the hope of a happier future where their ideals could be realized. Being ill, some will make no effort to get better, and in some way will even view death as enviable, representing the hope of a better life or the hope of finding a loved one they have lost. » Extract from the 1936 edition of "The Twelve Healers", translated into French by C. Lévi and G. Wolf.
