Description

Native to North America, cranberries have been used as a medicinal agent for centuries.

Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins, which have been shown to inhibit the fimbrial adhesion of bacteria, including Escherichia coli, to the epithelium of the urinary tract, thereby preventing bacterial overgrowth and infection.

It is suggested that these unique proanthocyanidin compounds, and not urine acidification, play a key role in the prevention of urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Dosage

Adults: Take 2 capsules daily or as directed by your health care practitioner.
