Description

Vitamin D improves the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and promotes good bone health. Osteoporosis Canada's guidelines recommend a daily intake of 400 to 1000 IU of vitamin D for low-risk adults under 50 years of age and 800 to 2000 IU for older adults at high risk. An intake of 700-800 IU of vitamin D per day is associated with a lower incidence of fractures compared to an intake of 400 IU per day.

Dosage

Adults: Chew one tablet once daily, or as directed by your practitioner.
