Description

DIM & Detox supports antioxidant defense and the function of the liver, an essential organ for detoxification of the body. BioResponse DIM® provides 25 mg per serving of a highly absorbable form of DIM, an important metabolite of indole-3-carbinol. DIM promotes the expression of antioxidant and phase II detoxification enzymes, which protect tissues from oxidative stress, toxins and reactive substances. Alpha-lipoic acid and N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) also provide antioxidants for cellular protection and support the activity of phase II detoxification enzymes in the liver. L-methionine is an essential amino acid that supports glutathione production and healthy liver function, including phase II detoxification pathways, hepatic fat metabolism and bile flow. The amino acid taurine is also present in liver cells as an important component of bile acids, which contribute to the uptake of fat-soluble vitamins.

Dosage

Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with meals, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.
