Description

EPA/DHA essentials contains pure microfiltered fish oil concentrate that supports cardiovascular and cognitive health. EPA and DHA from fish oil promote cardiovascular health by helping to reduce serum triglycerides, maintaining healthy blood flow and supporting healthy platelet function. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 223 subjects showed that fish oil supplementation promotes healthy arterial function. In addition, studies indicate that these oils help maintain the integrity of blood vessels. In addition, omega-3 fatty acids are important components of neuronal cell membranes and are essential for cognitive function. EPA/DHA essentials has been tested for environmental contaminants (heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins and furans) and microbial contaminants as well as signs of oxidation and rancidity. The results were well below the strict limits established for these criteria by the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the European Pharmacopoeia and the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP).

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule twice daily with a meal, or as recommended by a healthcare professional.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Gelatin capsule (gelatin, glycerin, purified water), natural tocopherols.
