Description

Ferrochel Iron Chelate is a patented bisglycinate form of iron, providing 27 mg of elemental iron. Unlike many other forms of iron, this one carries no electrical charge, making it more easily absorbed and less likely to interfere with the absorption of other nutrients such as vitamin E, ascorbic acid and calcium. Since Ferrochel Chelate is a neutral molecule, it is not destroyed by stomach acid and arrives intact in the intestine where it is easily absorbed. Inorganic iron supplements, such as iron sulfate, have low bioavailability and often cause gastrointestinal problems such as nausea, constipation and other undesirable gastric disorders. The form of iron found in Ferrochel Chelate offers clinicians a more optimal alternative.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily, with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or as directed by your healthcare professional. Caution: This product contains a sufficient amount of iron that may seriously harm a child. Keep out of reach of children.
