Description

Foresterol is a blend of phytosterols (plant sterols and stanols) designed to promote healthy cholesterol levels in the body as evidenced by research and years of clinical use.

When ingested, phytosterols inhibit the absorption of cholesterol, thereby lowering total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. Foresterol consists primarily of the four main phytosterols: beta-sitosterol, campesterol (as free sterol; not as sterol esters), campestanol and sitostanol. They have been shown to inhibit the absorption of cholesterol, both dietary and biliary, in the small intestine; therefore, even vegetarians can benefit from Foresterol.

It is important to note that a large part of the cholesterol in the serum comes from the intestinal reabsorption of cholesterol, the latter coming from the liver and the gallbladder.

Dosage

Adults : Take 3 capsules daily, 1 capsule with each meal, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
