Description

HMF Immune combines proprietary human-sourced probiotic strains with vitamins C and D to provide targeted immune system support. Each once-daily chewable tablet contains a blend of five research-based probiotic strains from the genera lactobacillus and bifidobacterium. Since nearly 80% of the body's immunologically active cells are located in the lymphoid tissue associated with the gastrointestinal tract, an important relationship between the gut and the immune system has been observed. In addition to supporting gastrointestinal health, HMF Immune contains the strain Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (Bl-04), which has been clinically proven to reduce the incidence and duration of upper respiratory tract disease in physically active adults. Also included in this product are Lactobacillus acidophilus (CUL-60 and CUL-21), Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (CUL-34) and Bifidobacterium bifidum (CUL-20), which have been clinically studied and shown to support the upper respiratory tract when combined with vitamin C. To further support immune function, HMF Immune contains vitamins C and D. Vitamin C supports the immune system by regulating lymphocyte proliferation, NK cell activity and immunoglobulin production, while vitamin D helps control T cell activity, cytokine release and phagocytosis in macrophages. Research has shown that vitamins C and D are particularly effective in supporting immune function in the respiratory tract. This shelf-stable formula has guaranteed activity until expiration and may improve patient compliance.

Dosage

Adults: Chew 1 tablet daily with a meal, at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
