HMF Intensive contains a combination of clinically proven probiotics to support normal gut flora following antibiotic therapy and significantly reduce irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms in adults and children over 11 years of age. Clinical studies have shown that supplementing with the probiotic formula contained in HMF® Intensive supports gastrointestinal health and helps reduce the microflora disruption caused by antibiotics. In addition, a clinical study found that daily supplementation with this probiotic formula for eight weeks significantly improved six measures of IBS symptoms (symptom severity score, abdominal pain, bloating, days with pain, bowel habit satisfaction and quality of life). Specifically, probiotics led to a 22% decrease in symptoms on days with intestinal discomfort, a 32% improvement in satisfaction with bowel habits and a 30% improvement in quality of life. Compared to placebo treatment, satisfaction with bowel habits and change in symptom severity score showed significant improvement after six weeks.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with a meal, at least 2-3 hours before or after taking antibiotics, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Each Capsule Contains: Probiotic Consortium 25 billion CFU Lactobacillus acidophilus (CUL-60 & CUL-21) 19 billion CFU Bidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (CUL-34) & Bidobacterium bidum (CUL-20) 6 billion CFU

Non-medicinal ingredients: Hypromellose, cellulose. Ingredients used to maintain the viability of probiotics (dipotassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, trehalose, sucrose).
