Description

HMF Replenish Capsules contains five proprietary human-source probiotic strains that reduce IBS symptoms in adults and children. IBS affects nearly 5 million Canadians and can be caused by an alteration of the gut microflora. Lactobacilli and bifidobacteria promote healthy gut microflora and increase bile salt reabsorption, which is impaired in IBS1. This results in less water entering the colon to dilute bile salts, which reduces water excretion and the occurrence of diarrhea. In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial involving 52 adults with IBS, daily supplementation with CUL-60, CUL-21, CUL-20, and CUL-34 significantly improved quality of life and bowel habit satisfaction scores, and reduced the number of days with pain within 10 weeks. Antibiotics also alter the gut microflora and can lead to the overgrowth of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. HMF Replenish Capsules promotes normal gut flora after antibiotic therapy by further decreasing pH and increasing mucin release to prevent pathogenic cell adhesion.

Dosage

Adults: Take one capsule once daily with a meal or as directed by your practitioner.
