Description

HMF Women's Daily Chewables have been specially formulated to meet the specific needs of women. Each great tasting chewable tablet contains 17.6 billion stem cells from a combination of seven research-based probiotic strains to restore and maintain healthy vaginal flora. The vagina is a complex ecosystem that can be altered by many factors, including age, medication, sexual activity, hygiene practices and hormone production. Lactobacilli are the dominant vaginal microorganisms in healthy women, where they help maintain normal vaginal microflora. They compete with other microorganisms for nutrients and adherence to the vaginal epithelium, lower the vaginal pH by producing organic acids (primarily lactic acid), and produce antimicrobial compounds including bacteriocins and hydrogen peroxide. In addition to providing two species of bifidobacteria, HMF Women's Daily Chewables offers three species of lactobacilli, selected for their natural occurrence in the female flora. This blend includes L. rhamnosus HN001 and L. acidophilus La-14, which provide special support for maintaining healthy vaginal flora. This probiotic combination also helps colonize the large and small intestines to support gastrointestinal health. To further contribute to overall wellness, HMF Women's Daily Chewables offers cranberry fruit extract, which prevents recurrent urinary tract infections in women.

Dosage

Adults: Chew 1 tablet daily or as recommended by your healthcare professional. For recurrent urinary tract infections, take 2 tablets daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics. Use for at least 4 weeks to see beneficial effects.
