Description

HMF® Women's Daily is a formula specially designed to meet the unique needs of women. Each shelf-stable capsule contains 17.6 billion CFUs of a combination of seven research-based probiotic strains that help restore and maintain vaginal flora. The vagina is a complex ecosystem that can be altered by many factors, including age, medication use, sexual activity, hygiene habits and hormone production. Lactobacilli are the dominant vaginal microorganisms in healthy women and help maintain the vaginal microflora. They compete with other microorganisms for nutrients and adhere to the vaginal epithelium, they lower the vaginal pH by producing organic acids (mainly lactic acid) and they produce antimicrobial compounds, such as bacteriocins and hydrogen peroxide. In addition to two species of bifidobacteria, HMF® Women's Daily contains three species of lactobacilli chosen for their natural presence in women's flora. This blend contains the strains L. rhamnosus HN001 and L. acidophilus (LA-14), which have particularly beneficial effects on the vaginal flora. This combination of probiotics also colonizes the small and large intestines to support gastrointestinal health. HMF Women's Daily also contributes to overall wellness through the presence of cranberry extract, which helps prevent recurrent UTIs in women. This shelf-stable formula has guaranteed potency until expiration and may improve patient compliance.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. For recurrent urinary tract infections, take 2 capsules daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics. Use for at least 4 weeks to see the benefits.
