Description

Tea tree oil is a topical antiseptic and ideal first aid remedy for external infections, such as fungal (nail) infections, staph, dermatomycosis, acne and herpes as well as oral infections and vaginal. As it is an essential oil, it also works wonders for eczema, cuts, abrasions, insect bites, burns, boils and abscesses.

The WHO confirms the following topical uses of tea tree oil, which are supported by clinical data: deodorant, treatment of acne, athlete's foot, furunculosis (boils), periungual folds, vaginitis caused by Trichomonas vaginalis or Candida albicans, cystitis and cervicitis.

Dosage

Adults: Apply sparingly twice a day to the affected nail using a cotton swab.
