Description

Folic acid, or folate, is a B vitamin that must be derived from food sources or via supplementation.

Folate is required for a biochemical process in the body called "methylation" or "one-carbon metabolism". This process does not function properly in a significant number of individuals who have genetic polymorphism, and it can contribute to a host of different problems, including neural tube defects, depression and reduced red blood cell production.

If a person is unable to convert folate properly, they may end up with a deficiency, even if they eat foods containing folate.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with food or as directed by your health care practitioner. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them.

Non-medicinal ingredients : Vegetable magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, and microcrystalline cellulose in a capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.

Adultes : Prendre 1 capsule par jour avec de la nourriture ou tel qu’indiqué par votre praticien de soins de santé. En cas de prise d’autres médicaments, prendre ce produit quelques heures avant ou après ceux-ci.
