Description

Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in the body, accounting for approximately 40-60% of the total tissue amino acid pool. It is required for a variety of essential functions, as it is a necessary substrate for protein synthesis, hepatic ureogenesis, and hepatic and renal glucogenesis. It also acts as an anabolic precursor in muscle growth, as a buffer for acid-base balance in the kidneys, as an oxidizing fuel for intestinal and immune cells, as a nitrogen transporter between organs and as a precursor for the synthesis of neurotransmitters, nucleotides, nucleic acids and glutathione.

Dosage
