Description

Liver-G.I. Detox is formulated to help support gastrointestinal health and liver function, an organ involved in detoxification. Silymarin supports the liver by increasing the effectiveness of phase II detoxification enzymes, supporting glutathione synthesis and promoting liver cell function. Supplied with the amino acids glutamine, glycine and taurine, methionine is a lipotropic compound that improves liver function by supporting lipid metabolism and glutathione concentration. Alpha-lipoic acid is a water-soluble antioxidant, allowing it to function in virtually any part of the body, including the liver. N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) a precursor to glutathione, and NAC supplementation increases glutathione levels in tissues. This formula also contains sulforaphane, an important metabolite from a broccoli sprout concentrate, as well as turmeric, which has long been used for its broad-spectrum support. Artichoke is used in herbal medicine to help relieve digestive disorders and increase bile flow, thus aiding the digestive process. Chlorella, the most studied "green food", is traditionally celebrated for its health benefits.

Dosage

Adults: Take 3 capsules daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking medications or health products, or as directed by a health care professional. Be sure to drink plenty of water while taking this product. Use for a minimum of 3 weeks to see the beneficial effects.
