Description

Mag Cal Vanilla Liquid supports musculoskeletal health with a concentrated organic mineral combination of magnesium and calcium citrate, along with vitamin D. Magnesium supplementation supports active lifestyles by helping to maintain muscle function and promoting healthy bone mineral composition. Vitamin D levels tend to be lower in overweight adults and clinical trial results indicate that supplementation with this vitamin is necessary for these individuals. In a 1-year, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, daily supplementation with 1000 IU of vitamin D significantly attenuated hip bone mineral loss in women aged 60 to 70 with mean BMI values above 25. After 1 year of supplement use, the average loss of hip bone mineral density was approximately 0.05% in the vitamin D group, compared with an approximate loss of 0.60% in the placebo group. Serum calcium levels also increased significantly in the vitamin D group.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablespoon daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Shake well before each use. Do not drink directly from the bottle.
