Description

Magnesium Complex Liquid is a concentrated combination of three biological sources of magnesium, including glycinate, citrate and malate. Magnesium is one of the most common nutritional deficiencies in Canada, with over 34% of Canadians aged 19 years and older not consuming the Estimated Average Requirement (EAR) for magnesium, a number that exceeds 40% for older men and women. Magnesium, the fourth most abundant mineral in the body, is a co-factor in over 300 metabolic reactions. Magnesium plays an important role in the regulation of muscle function as a cofactor for creatine kinase, an enzyme that generates ATP from phosphocreatine stored in muscle tissue during intense exercise. Magnesium supplementation has been shown to improve alactic anaerobic metabolism and help reduce the frequency and intensity of muscle cramps in pregnant women (who generally have lower serum magnesium levels). Each tablespoon of Magnesium Complex Liquid provides 500 mg of magnesium to also support macronutrient metabolism and bone health.

Dosage
