Description

NeuroPure, created by Pure Encapsulations® in collaboration with Dr. James Greenblatt, is part of PureSYNAPSE™, a line of products based on scientific discovery and decades of clinical experience. NeuroPure contains neurotransmitter precursors that support healthy mood balance by promoting the production and effectiveness of serotonin and dopamine. Emerging research has also revealed the role of 5-HTP in reducing the intensity and duration of migraines when used as a prophylactic treatment. Quercetin and curcumin support antioxidant defense to promote optimal health. Another key component of each formulation in this series is the inclusion of a co-factor complex including vitamin B6, zinc and Metafolin® L-5-MTHF. These nutrients are often not present in sufficient quantities due to medication, poor diet and exposure to toxic environments, which compromises the ability to metabolize nutrients efficiently. Along with zinc, vitamin B6 is a co-factor in amino acid metabolism, including the metabolism of 5-HTP to serotonin and DL-phenylalanine to dopamine.

Dosage

Adults: Take two capsules once or twice daily, or as recommended by a healthcare professional. For mood support and migraine prophylaxis: Take two capsules twice daily, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take with food a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond three months.

Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule): L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (from Griffonia simplicifolia seed) 50 mg, DL-Phenylalanine 350 mg, Meriva® Curcuminoids-phosphatidylcholine complex (from Curcuma longa rhizome/Glycine maxseed) 75 mg (standardized to contain 33% curcuminoids), Quercetin 50 mg, Folate (calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, Metafolin®) 250 mcg, Zinc (zinc picolinate) 5 mg, Vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) 3.4 mg.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, purified water.
