Description

Organic Fibre-Pro is made with PHGG, a prebiotic fibre from the guar bean. It mixes easily with water without noticeable thickening, remains stable at acidic pH and withstands high temperatures.1 Fibre is an important part of a healthy diet and contributes to regularity. As a prebiotic fibre, PHGG increases beneficial Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium species in the intestines.4,5 Fermentation also increases beneficial short-chain fatty acids such as acetate and butyrate.6

Studies show that PHGG helps prevent constipation and relieve diarrhea by normalizing stool transit time and consistency.7,8 In people with IBS, PHGG has been shown to improve symptoms of both diarrhea and constipation,4,8 in addition to improving symptoms of bloating and gas.3 Organic Fibre-Pro is low in FODMAPs (fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols), substances that are difficult for people with IBS to digest. This makes PHGG an ideal fiber supplement for regularity for both people with and without IBS.

Dosage

Adults: Mix 1 serving (approximately 6.7 g) with 250 mL of water, 1 to 2 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.
