Description

Age-related vision loss is largely due to damaged proteins called advanced glycation end products (AGEs). This can lead to loss of flexibility in the eye's lens, glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration. AGEs can also affect the clarity of the cornea. Topical carnosine has been shown to improve some corneal disorders. Removing these dysfunctional proteins allows the cells of the eye to function better, so the lens becomes clearer and more flexible.

Dosage

Adults: Two drops in each eye twice daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Application may cause temporary irritation to the eye. Discontinue use and consult a physician if eye tissue becomes more inflamed, red, irritated or uncomfortable after use of this product, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours. Keep this and all other products out of the reach of children.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Sterile water (ophthalmic grade isotonic solution pH 6.3 to 6.4), glycerin (lubricant), citric acid, boric acid, hypromellose, potassium bicarbonate, benzyl alcohol (preservative)
