Description

OsteoBalance is a calcium-rich, bone-supporting formula that includes other nutritional factors, such as vitamin D, that promote optimal calcium uptake and retention while enhancing bone mineralization. OsteoBalance provides 344 mg of calcium per day, plus a complete profile of important bone-building nutrients such as vitamins C and D, magnesium, manganese and zinc. Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies have shown statistically significant benefits of calcium supplementation for bone health. Both calcium malate and calcium citrate malate are highly bioavailable forms of calcium. In a two-year double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, calcium citrate malate supported bone mass in postmenopausal women with low dietary calcium intakes. A study showed that concomitant supplementation of trace minerals, including zinc and manganese, with calcium citrate malate helped promote healthy bone metabolism in postmenopausal women. Magnesium supports healthy bone mineralization and vitamin D reduces urinary calcium loss while improving calcium assimilation. Calcium consumption, combined with adequate vitamin D intake, a healthy diet and regular exercise, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule 2 times daily in divided doses or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take with food a few hours before or after taking other medications.
