Phyto JSE is mainly indicated to calm spasms originating from the nervous system. Its antispasmodic action also extends to the musculoskeletal, cardiac and digestive systems. It is therefore beneficial for intestinal spasms, cramps (digestion spasms) and insomnia (brain wave spasms).
Historically, spasms are thought to arise from a disconnection between heaven and earth. Silver linden and juniper ground the head and body (“reconnect”).
Silver Linden has an affinity with the nervous system, acting as a nervous system detoxifier. It has antispasmodic action and is traditionally used for epilepsy in children, a type of spasm of the neuronal system. Silver lime is well indicated in pediatric groups.
Liver function directly influences brain function. There is a link between spasms and liver health. In the most extreme example, hepatic encephalopathy results in cerebral edema which results in serious neurological manifestations. Muscle spasms are also common in people with cirrhosis and are believed to be linked to liver disease in the cirrhotic stage. There are also strong links between liver pathology and spastic paraparesis.
Juniper, through its action of draining the liver, also has an antispasmodic action.
English holly is indicated as an antiepileptic, increasing electrical dysfunctions on the dura mater and reducing storms in the brain. Remember that the dura protects the brain and spinal cord. It is responsible for draining blood and cerebrospinal fluid from the nervous tissue.
