Description

PreNatal Nutrients is a hypoallergenic, highly bioavailable formula containing several vitamins and minerals designed specifically for pregnant and nursing women. PreNatal Nutrients provides the nutrients necessary for maternal and fetal health, such as selenium, zinc, biotin, niacin, thiamine and riboflavin, at the doses recommended by Health Canada for pregnant and nursing women. In addition, PreNatal Nutrients provides 1 mg of folate (in the form of folic acid and Metafolin® 5-MTHF, the universally metabolized natural form of folate) for healthy development of the fetal brain and spinal cord, helping to reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken daily at least three months prior to and early in pregnancy. It is also fortified with extra vitamin D and K to support bone health, chromium to support healthy glucose metabolism, and iron to help prevent iron deficiency anemia and related fatigue. It also contains beta-carotene (provitamin A) to help maintain skin and immune function.

Dosage

Adults: Take two capsules daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
