Description

Probiotic 123 provides 2.25 billion CFU per serving of naturally occurring beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis to support gastrointestinal health. Animal and human studies have shown that Lactobacillus acidophilus supports the mucosal lining of the gastrointestinal tract, helping to maintain healthy bowel function. Several studies in children have also shown that consumption of supplements containing different probiotic bacteria helps support gastrointestinal health and comfort. Another study of nearly 200 children suggests that a probiotic supplement containing bifidobacteria promoted healthy gastrointestinal activity.

Dosage

Take 1 to 2 scoops daily in divided doses, or as directed by a health care professional. Mix with applesauce or yogurt. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
