Description

Probiotic 50B provides 50 billion CFU per capsule of the beneficial bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus gasseri, Bifidobacterium longum subsp. Longum, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis. This formula is available in acid-resistant capsules with pH-targeted release for maximum probiotic viability. These capsules are designed to resist acidic environments (such as the stomach) and dissolve in more alkaline environments (such as the small and large intestines). This technology helps protect organisms from stomach acid and allows maximum amounts of revivable bacteria to pass through the digestive tract. This blend of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria is designed to promote a healthy gut ecology to support gastrointestinal health. Probiotics have been shown to maintain the health of the gastrointestinal barrier in part by supporting the epithelial integrity of the gut. Several trials have also shown that supplementation with a variety of probiotics helps maintain gut flora and promotes gastrointestinal comfort.

Dosage

Adults: Take 2 capsules daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
