PCO Px contains a proprietary blend of natural compounds designed to provide balanced female hormonal support. The main herbal ingredient included in this formula is Vitex (chasteberry), known for its ability to relieve symptoms of hormonal imbalance resulting from conditions such as premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and menopause. Specifically, studies indicate that Vitex has a beneficial impact on premenstrual breast pain (i.e. mastalgia), which is one of the most common premenstrual symptoms. Data also suggests that Vitex may curb prolactin and testosterone in women and promote normal menstrual cycles and ovulation. D-Chiro-Inositol promotes a healthy insulin response and balanced androgen levels. Saw palmetto was chosen for this blend because it is used by women around the world to counteract the physical manifestations of hormonal imbalance, particularly excess testosterone. Saw palmetto fights a particularly potent form of testosterone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which contributes to excessively oily skin, acne, and excessive body hair growth (i.e. hirsutism). This formula also contains glycyrrhizin, the active component of licorice root. Glycyrrhizin is commonly used to balance blood sugar metabolism and hormones such as cortisol. Chemicals in licorice root are believed to thin mucus secretions and promote healthy lining of the digestive tract.

Dosage
