Description

SeroPlus was created by Pure Encapsulations in collaboration with Dr. James Greenblatt as part of the Integrative Mental Health Series, a line of products based on scientific discovery and decades of clinical experience. SeroPlus contains 5-HTP to support healthy mood balance by providing essential elements to serotonin. By helping to form serotonin, 5-HTP balances serotonin activity in the brain, promoting emotional well-being. Another key element of each formulation in this series is the inclusion of co-factors such as vitamin B6, zinc and Metafolin® L-5-MTHF. L-5MTHF is a form of folate that easily crosses the blood-brain barrier. These nutrients are often present in insufficient amounts due to medication, poor diets and exposure to toxic environments, compromising the ability to metabolize nutrients efficiently. Along with zinc, vitamin B6 is a cofactor in amino acid metabolism, including the metabolism of 5-HTP to serotonin.

Dosage

Adults: Take one capsule three times daily with food a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Use for at least one week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond three months.
