Description

Fiber is an essential part of a healthy diet. However, the average daily intake of fiber in the United States is only about half of the recommended intake of 30 to 35 grams per day. Soluble fiber is not digestible by the enzymes of the gastrointestinal tract, but rather is fermented by beneficial bacteria in the gut. This product improves gastrointestinal health, function and regularity, and increases satiety. It also promotes glycemic control and cardiovascular health. Low dietary fiber intake has been associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.

Fiber supplementation has been shown to be more effective than fiber from the diet. AOR SoluFibre contains partially hydrolyzed guar gum, a highly soluble prebiotic form of fiber derived from the endosperm of the grape. Guar gum is fermented more slowly in the intestinal tract than some other prebiotic fibers, making it easily tolerated. Hydrolysis is a controlled natural process that breaks down guar gum into smaller units, greatly reducing its viscosity and allowing the particles to dissolve more easily, while maintaining the original fiber content. It is a patented form of highly soluble fiber that has been clinically tested and studied in children.

AOR SoluFibre has a neutral taste and dissolves completely in liquid. It is also one of the best-tolerated and most palatable soluble fibers that does not alter the taste and texture of foods and beverages.

Dosage

Adults : Take one to two scoops per day; children over nine years of age are allowed one scoop per day. Take two hours before or after taking other medications, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Dissolve in a liquid (water, milk, juice or similar watery beverage) at a rate of 200 mL per scoop. Shake vigorously and drink immediately. Maintain adequate fluid intake.
