Description

Ayurveda is the traditional system of medicine originating in India. Three of Ayurveda's most powerful anti-inflammatory herbs: curcumin, boswellia and ashwagandha are featured in AOR Inflammation Relief.

Curcumin, a plant compound found in turmeric root (Curcuma longa) is the most studied herbal remedy. Curcumin provides several health benefits, including reducing inflammation and pain, but it is not well absorbed by the body. Longvida® solves this problem by providing an enhanced form of curcumin for better absorption.

Boswellia gum-resin extract (Boswellia serrata) is used in folk medicine to treat various chronic inflammatory diseases. In recent years, the efficacy of boswellia for the relief of osteoarthritic joint pain and inflammation has been compared to some over-the-counter pain relievers.

Sometimes called "Indian ginseng", ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is considered a major "adaptogen". Adaptogens are plants that contain active ingredients that can help the body cope with daily stress and act as a general tonic.

The anti-inflammatory agents in Inflammation Relief have been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation. They work together to deliver their benefits without causing the side effects of over-the-counter pain relievers. People with painful and degenerative joint conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis, or other chronic pain or inflammation may benefit from this product.

Although the anti-inflammatory properties of curcumin, boswellia and ashwagandha have been widely studied, none of them are readily absorbed by the body. AOR's Inflammation Relief contains extracts of these herbs, enhanced through an industrial process to form tiny micellar particles, small enough to easily penetrate the intestinal wall, as well as the bloodstream, thus greatly improving their absorption and bioavailability.

Dosage

Adults: Take one capsule one to three times daily with food or as directed by a healthcare professional.
