Description

Super EFA Forte Capsules + D offers a highly concentrated fish oil formula that provides EPA and DHA in the form of bioavailable triglycerides. Each exceptionally pure capsule provides 800 mg of EPA to support cognitive and cardiovascular health. DHA is one of the most important omega-3 fatty acids in the brain, where it is involved in the regulation of membrane fluidity, synapse formation and cytokine production. EPA and DHA support cardiovascular health by promoting lipid metabolism and normal heart rate as well as platelet and endothelial health. Clinical research has also shown that triglyceride-based fish oils are more bioavailable than ethyl esters; one study reported a greater increase in omega-3 levels after six months of supplementation than with an identical dose of ethyl esters. The formula also includes vitamin D because of its recognized effects on maintaining immune function and bone health.
