Description

Super EFA Forte Capsules offers a highly concentrated fish oil formula that provides EPA and DHA in the form of bioavailable triglycerides. Each exceptionally pure capsule provides 800 mg of EPA and DHA to support cognitive, cardiovascular and joint health in adults with RA. DHA is one of the most important omega-3 fatty acids in the brain, where it helps regulate membrane fluidity, synapse formation and cytokine production. Clinical research has shown that DHA can support cognitive health, including episodic memory and learning in older adults. DHA also supports brain, eye and nerve development in children 12 years and younger. EPA and DHA support cardiovascular health by promoting healthy lipid metabolism, healthy heart rate, and platelet and endothelial function. In combination with traditional therapeutic approaches, EPA and DHA help reduce pain in adults with RA. These omega-3 fatty acids have been clinically shown to reduce the severity of joint pain, improve grip strength, and facilitate daily functioning in adults living with RA, which may be a result of their ability to regulate immune cell activity and the production of prostaglandin and leukotriene. Clinical research has also shown that triglyceride-based fish oils are more bioavailable than ethyl esters one study reported a greater increase in omega-4 levels after six months of supplementation than with an identical dose of ethyl esters.

Dosage

Adults: Take 1 to 4 capsules daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. To help reduce the pain of rheumatoid arthritis, take 4 capsules daily or as directed by your health care practitioner.
