Description

Amino Acid Supreme is a balanced formula of free form essential amino acids, with a delicious fruit punch flavor and presented in a powder form for convenient and effective dosing. Since these amino acids are in free form, they can be easily absorbed and utilized by the body. Amino acids are fundamental to many metabolic functions in the body. Amino acid deficiency can be caused by digestive dysfunction, nutritional or lifestyle factors, or conditions that affect the proper functioning of the stomach, pancreas, liver or small intestine. Free amino acids are immediately available for absorption and can therefore be used by the metabolism more easily and quickly than the amino acids contained in dietary proteins. People with inadequate digestive functions, those in remission from physical trauma and those who have difficulty consuming enough complete proteins, such as the elderly, can benefit from taking free form amino acids. Alpha-ketoglutarate and vitamin B6 (in the form of pyridoxal-5-phosphate) are included in this product for optimal absorption and effectiveness.

Dosage

Adults: Thoroughly mix 12 g/1 scoop in 1-2 cups of water immediately before consuming, 1 time daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. Dosage is given for typical use for a healthy 150 pound adult. Health care professionals are encouraged to use their clinical judgment in recommending specific dosages based on goals, body weight, medical history and use in combination with medications and/or other supplements. A higher dose may be indicated in cases where muscle mass gain is desired or in a confirmed amino acid deficiency state.
