The intake of Beta-Alanine provides the essential element for the synthesis of Carnosine. Carnosine is a dipeptide composed of Beta-Alanine and Histidine. Carnosine helps maintain a relatively neutral muscle pH when large amounts of lactic acid are produced. It is known that Carnosine levels are limited by the amount of Beta-Alanine available. Studies show that more Beta-Alanine increases muscle Carnosine concentration. Beta-Alanine therefore becomes an important element to prolong or intensify your training by delaying the effect of lactic acid.
Adults : RECOMMENDED USE OR PURPOSE: Increases carnosine levels, helping to delay neuromuscular fatigue during high intensity intermittent exercise. DURATION OF USE: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 10 weeks. RECOMMENDED DOSE: Take ½ scoop daily. Mix product thoroughly in 1-2 cups of liquid (water, juice, etc.) immediately before consuming.
