Description

CurcumaSorb contains the patented Meriva® curcumin-phosphatidylcholine complex for improved assimilation and bioavailability. Proprietary phytosome technology contains curcumin and phosphatidylcholine in a 1:2 ratio, promoting resistance to breakdown in the digestive tract and efficient assimilation across membranes. This results in higher peak plasma concentrations and a larger area under the concentration-time curves. In a single dose animal pharmacokinetic study, plasma curcumin levels were 20 times higher with Meriva® than with standard curcumin. A preliminary pharmacokinetic study in human subjects demonstrated that the increase in plasma curcumin obtained after ingestion of 450 mg of Meriva® was similar to values ​​obtained after ingestion of 4,000 mg of standard curcumin extract. The effectiveness of a low dose was demonstrated in a three-month clinical trial during which daily ingestion of 200 mg of curcuminoids from Meriva® helped reduce joint inflammation and significantly improved comfort, mobility and quality of life when combined with traditional treatment.

Dosage

Adults: Take 2 capsules 2-3 times daily

Medicinal ingredients (per capsule): Meriva® 250 mg providing 150 mg of curcuminoid-phosphatidylcholine complex standardized to contain 30% curcuminoids (from turmeric rhizome (Curcuma longa) and sunflower seed ( Helianthus annuus)).

Nonmedicinal ingredients: Hypoallergenic vegetable cellulose, vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water).
