Description

KMG Plus is a vegan formula that supports muscle health and macronutrient metabolism. Vitamin B6 serves as a catalyst in over 140 reactions and is involved in nearly all metabolic reactions of amino acids, including their synthesis and breakdown. Muscles contain about 70-80% of the vitamin B6 present in the body, where it is in glycogen phosphorylase as a coenzyme. This enzyme is necessary for glycogenolysis, which breaks down glycogen into glucose, and provides fuel for muscles during exercise. Magnesium promotes normal muscle function by competing with calcium for binding sites on proteins that regulate muscle contraction. Low levels of magnesium can allow calcium to bind to these proteins and this can lead to muscle cramps. Approximately 50-60% of magnesium is found in the bones, where it stimulates the bone-forming activity of osteoclasts and serves to develop and maintain bones and teeth. Magnesium is also a cofactor for over 600 enzymes, including those involved in glycolysis, amino acid production, and protein synthesis. Since almost 80-90% of magnesium is lost during food processing, supplementation with this mineral is important for maintaining good health.

Dosage

Adults: Take one capsule once daily with a meal or as directed by your practitioner.
