Description

L-theanine is a unique amino acid extracted from tea. L-theanine has also been found to be a biologically active compound that promotes relaxation. It works by reducing cortisol levels during times of stress and by regulating neurotransmitter activity in the brain. In a preliminary non-clinical study, a solution of L-theanine enhanced the production of alpha waves in the occipital and parietal areas of subjects' brains. These reactions are considered to be an indication of relaxation. In addition, they occurred rapidly and without causing drowsiness. In two other studies, alpha waves could also be detected shortly after the administration of L-theanine. In addition, L-theanine attenuates the effects of caffeine on the central nervous system. Dosage

Adults: Take 1 capsule per day.
