Niacin 100

• Niacin, also called vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid, is recognized as a cardioprotective agent, mainly because of its action in the inhibition of hydrolysis of triglycerides, resulting in an increase in HDL and a drop in triglycerides rate. In fact, niacin was associated with an increase in HDL up to 30%. In the body, its main function is as a component of the Coenzymes Nad+ and Nadp+, which both operate in the redox state of the cell. In addition to these actions, it has also been confirmed that it hinders vascular inflammation, by its action on the decrease in the production of reactive oxygen (ROS) endothelial species and on the subsequent oxidation of LDLs, as well as only on the decrease in the production of inflammatory cytokines.

Dosage

Adults: One (1) capsule daily as a dietary supplement or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Caution: Do not take this product if you are allergic to niacin or if you suffer from severe liver disease, gall bladder disease, peptic ulcer or gout. Do not take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
